Indenture (or contract) that established Barings as a merchant house on 25th December 1762

The indenture is between John, Francis and Charles Baring. The brothers agree to set up merchant businesses in London and Exeter with funds lent to them by their mother and provided by themselves. John was to have 50 per cent of the profits and Francis and Charles were to have 25 per cent each.
